The short version: this website doesn't require an account, doesn't use advertising trackers, and doesn't sell your personal information. We only receive personal information when you choose to send it, through a careers application or a franchise inquiry, and we use it solely to respond to you.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Careers applications: name, email, phone, preferred location, role, resume and any message you include. This is delivered to our hiring team via FormSubmit.co, a form-relay service.
- Franchise inquiries: name, email, phone, country, state, city, preferred franchise location, investment budget and current occupation. This is emailed to our franchise team and recorded in a private Google Sheet we use to track inquiries, governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Email: anything you send to infousa@atulbakery.com.
Information stored on your device
- Country preference: when you choose United States or Canada in the welcome popup, we save that single choice in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again. It never leaves your device and you can clear it anytime in your browser settings.
Information collected automatically
- Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies on this site today; if that changes, this policy and a consent notice will be updated first.
2. Third-party services on this site
- Google Fonts & Maps links: fonts are loaded from Google's servers and store "Directions" links open Google Maps.
- Google Sheets: franchise inquiries are copied into a private spreadsheet so our team can track them. Only our staff can open it; it is never public.
- OpenStreetMap / CARTO tiles & Leaflet: power the store-locator map.
- Instagram / Behold: our photo gallery may fetch recent public posts from our Instagram account via Behold.so.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: the anti-bot check on our forms. It looks at browser signals to tell people from automated scripts, and does not use tracking cookies or profile you across sites.
- FormSubmit.co: relays careers applications and franchise inquiries to our email. Your submission goes to our own server first, which passes it on; your browser never contacts FormSubmit directly.
- CDNs (cdnjs, unpkg): serve open-source libraries used by the site.
When your browser loads content from these providers, they receive your IP address as part of the normal web request. Each operates under its own privacy policy.
3. How we use your information
- To review and respond to job applications and franchise inquiries;
- To answer questions you email us;
- To keep the website secure and working.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. How long we keep it
Careers applications are kept while a role is open and for a reasonable period afterward (so we can contact you about future openings), unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Emails are retained as ordinary business correspondence.
5. Your rights
United States residents
Depending on your state (including under the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, request its deletion or correction, and be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. We honor such requests regardless of state.
Canadian residents
Under PIPEDA you may request access to and correction of your personal information, withdraw consent to its use, and ask how it has been used or disclosed.
To exercise any of these rights, email infousa@atulbakery.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We'll respond within the timelines required by applicable law.
6. Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Application data is transmitted to our email through the form relay described above and is accessible only to our hiring and management team.
8. Changes to this policy
If we add features that change what we collect (for example online ordering, analytics, or a newsletter), we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date before those features go live.
